WOMAN LAST SEEN IN HER THIRTIES

Amy McFadden emotionally narrates the story of a woman's struggle to find herself after her divorce. Maggie's husband of 30 years leaves her suddenly to find happiness with a younger woman. Maggie, whose children are grown, is left to mend herself as she spontaneously travels to Italy, romantically rebounds, and ultimately learns to love herself again after having put her family first for so many years. Although listeners won't find anything beyond a story of divorce and midlife crisis, McFadden does such an excellent job of transforming herself into Maggie that the character comes across as fully authentic.
