Susan Scott wants us to believe that taking her advice will so improve our oral communications "one conversation at a time" that dramatic positive change in our personal and professional intercourse will inevitably result. Whether or not she's correct, this reviewer cannot judge--though he does prefer candor to some of her tips. The author poses her precepts in accessible, graceful language, and Dunne delivers this language clearly and expressively.
