GOING UP

This audiobook fits the bill for listeners looking for a quick and delightful listening experience. Stonemason Noah Donovan gets stuck on an elevator with bartender Lexi Allison and the pack rat that Lexi is pet-sitting. Narrator Alexander Cendese takes on the chapters from Noah's point of view, and narrator Laura Jennings handles Lexi's. Cendese gives Noah personal warmth and brings out his sense of humor, which listeners will find charming. However, he does tend to give the female voices a slightly nasal quality.
