HOW TO MEET CUTE BOYS

This book should have been titled "How to Keep Cute Boys." The lead female character, Benjamina, hooks up with a cute boy at a party and spends the rest of the book trying to keep him while documenting the process through articles for her fashion magazine, FILLY. Allison Silverman narrates this silly tale with an eclectic set of voices, from the deep-voiced, whiny Max (the cute boy) to Benjamina's know-it-all mother. As the voices give the characters life, the listening is easy and fun, but the plot is noticeably thin. J.F.M.
