SMOKIN' SEVENTEEN

Lorelei King's performance is "smokin'" in this latest offering in the Stephanie Plum series. Bodies are turning up almost daily, some with notes dedicated to Stephanie. While working to capture a wacky array of bond skips, Stephanie is trying to stay one step ahead of both the killer and her own matchmaking mother. King portrays each character perfectly and differently. Each is distinct and memorable: scary Grandma Bella, who casts spells; sexy and mysterious Ranger; long-suffering Mrs. Plum; and the irrepressible Lula, among them.
