INNOVATOR'S DNA Mastering the Five Skills of Disruptive Innovators

by | Read by Mel Foster

Business & Finance • 8 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2011

Mel Foster’s narrating skills are far from ordinary, and he has a good grasp of what’s being offered in this outstanding book on how to act like an innovator. His pacing sounds rushed and mechanical at first, but after a few chapters he seems to find himself and sounds more relaxed (if not exciting) for the remainder of the program. His phrasing is always appropriate and comprehensible. The authors’ careful research on 100 top innovators reveals that they use five skills to spark their companies to be more creative: associating (connecting diverse ideas), questioning, observing, networking, and experimenting. Although the data, fascinating case studies, and practical suggestions are impressive, it’s the intellectually seductive cohesion of the authors’ thinking that make this book so useful and memorable.
