BROTHERS The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years

by | Read by Mel Foster

Biography & Memoir • 20.45 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2007

Just when you might think we know all we need to know about the Kennedys, along comes this original work, which focuses on how the brothers ruled the country, warts and all. It’s good history and a great story. Narrator Mel Foster is an inspired choice to deliver it. His deep, assured voice lends credibility to the author’s well-researched narrative, and he effectively keeps the book moving through the myriad facts, claims, and historical exposition. Foster uses his theater background to create character voices for the Kennedys and other leaders mentioned in the book. They make the book that much better. With the book weighing in at over 20 hours, Foster makes it well worth the time. R.I.G. © AudioFile 2012, Portland, Maine [Published: DECEMBER 2012]
