ALIEN: SEA OF SORROWS An Audible Original Drama

The sinister Weyland-Yutani corporation once again tries to capture and weaponize the aliens known as Xenomorphs. Three hundred years after the events of the previous stories, which inspired the Alien series of movies, the company tasks Alan Decker—Ellen Ripley's distant descendant—and a group of mercenaries with exploring excavated ruins on the newly terraformed LV-178, beneath the deadly desert known as the Sea of Sorrows. The story benefits from excellent portrayals by John Chancer as Decker and Stockard Channing as the ruthless Andrea Rawlings. Heart-stopping sound effects and dramatic music are layered in wonderfully. Action scenes thunder with intensity while the quieter moments simmer with tension.
