Alex Wyse is the voice of Zoomy, a legally blind boy who has stumbled across the find of a lifetime. Wyse’s even cadence and ever-questioning tone perfectly portray the young character who sees the world in a unique way. Veronika Dominczyk depicts Lorrol, Zoomy’s new friend who helps to research the curious notebook that was left in Zoomy’s possession. Her voice, soft yet commanding, punctuates each chapter as she reads the “Gas Gazette,” a newspaper that Zoomy and Lorrol produce with clues from their research. Jason Culp delivers the edgy voice of the stranger who desperately wants the historical notebook back. An audio experience not to be missed.
