THE JOY OF SCIENCE

From the very beginning, one recognizes the gift of Professor Hazen, not only to make science easy to understand, but also to assemble such an immense subject into 30 hours. Since he is involved in research, his facts are up to date and often related to modern everyday life. The few concepts that might be impossible to grasp in audio (mathematical formulas or molecular shapes) can be viewed in the accompanying booklets. No scientist would be insulted by the course's seeming simplicity, and no intelligent beginner would be overwhelmed by the lectures' messages.
