MAX THE BRAVE

Setting an unhurried pace for the youngest of listeners, L.J. Ganser narrates the story of Max, a "sweet" kitten who is on a nonchalant outing through the neighborhood. Max encounters place after place and meets animal after animal as he searches for one particular one-- the mouse he knows he should be chasing. Ganser brings gusto to each character--a high-pitched "eeek" for the elephant who can't believe Max has confused him with a mouse and a crafty, light-voiced "monster" who tricks the kitten.
