Alan Cumming's narration of his own collection of reminiscences bursts out of one's speakers with passion and verve. Cumming's Scottish accent is a delight to listen to as he enthuses about topics that range from Crocs to chest hair, speaks with loving sadness of the death of his dog, Honey, and slides into American accents to relay the words of other people who enter his stories, including Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Taylor, and Liza Minnelli. The vignettes are based on photos included in a PDF that accompanies the production, but Cumming's wit, good humor, and attention to just the right details in his writing and performance are more than enough on their own to keep listeners riveted.
