A MOST EXTRAORDINARY PURSUIT

Young Emmeline Truelove, personal secretary to the late Duke of Olympia, has been sent on an adventure in Greece to find his missing heir. Narrator Nicola Barber perfectly captures this opinionated, forward-thinking Englishwoman. Emmeline is accompanied by Lord Silverton, a brazen scoundrel who is also portrayed fittingly by Barber. Barber's voices and accents offer just enough to make the characters believable and distinct. Her smooth, engaged narration leads listeners through this unlikely adventure, which includes Greek mythology, time travel, and ghosts. Listening is a light and fun escape.
