On top of that, you'll find politics, media trickery and corporate in-fighting. Reader Frances Cassidy does it all justice. Her cool style keeps the action and intrigue in balance. Rather than trying to force or overplay characterizations, Cassidy lets the strength of the story carry the day. She gives identity and dimension to lead character Casey Singleton and a touch of gruffness to the male heavies but never lets the process get in the way of a fine product.
