JUST LOOK UP

Lane Kelley is working frantically to prove herself worthy of a promotion at a fast-paced interior design firm when she receives a phone call from home. Her brother has been in a terrible accident and needs Lane immediately. Matilda Novak gives a lovely narration of this gentle story, which focuses on many kinds of love: romantic love, familial love, and God's love. She reads the narrative with crisp enunciation as Lane heads for home, where unhappy memories overwhelm her. Novak captures all the emotions in the dialogue between Lane and her family and between her and family friend Ryan Brooks, who's loved Lane since they were children. Listeners will feel Lane's struggles as she tries to figure out what's more important in her life--her glamorous career, or something even bigger.
