Roseanne Montillo details the lives of Betty Robinson, Babe Didrikson, Stella Walsh, and others; Kathleen McInerney narrates with a steady emotional tone. It's her inflections that carry the audiobook rather than impersonations, which is appropriate. The achievements of these pioneers--some of whom remain footnotes in history--are treated with respect, which McInerney delivers through her narration.
