Retired Inspector Trotti finds himself investigating a murder and becoming a hit man's target himself. The story is liberally sprinkled with Italian references, which help create the atmosphere. Reynolds's pronunciation of the Italian names sounds authentic, and his skilled characterizations ensures that listeners can follow the key characters through the complex plot.
