AS YOU WISH

An incredible secret lies within the dull, dusty town of Madison, Nevada. Upon turning 18, the town's residents can make one wish--a wish that always comes true. Narrator Brian Hutchison ably conveys the story of Eldon, a 17-year-old boy who's having trouble choosing his wish even though his wish day is fast approaching. As Eldon ponders his decision, Hutchison weaves in and out of his consciousness, deftly conveying his struggle. Hutchison's command of female voices is admirable; however, many of the male voices sound similar. Context generally allows the listener to identify single characters, but when multiple voices enter the scene, confusion may arise.
