Narrators Luke Daniels and Erin Mallon serve up scrumptious-sounding foodie references and restoration projects in a contemporary romance that delightfully twists the "marriage of convenience" trope for modern palates. Brynn, portrayed by Mallon, corners the first man she sees at a party when her ex shows up with a new fling on his arm. With equal parts heat and humor, the gruff-sounding Daniels portrays reality TV renovator Tom, who takes on the curvy divorcée. They have a brief encounter, and later a video recording of them surfaces on social media. With exceptional timing for comedic delivery and extremely likable characters, this sexy listen will be tempting to finish in one go. A.L.
