Narrator Lisa Zimmerman brings the feel of Texas to this romance between Ember Alzate and Ranger Lockhart. Ember and Ranger have been best friends all their lives, but not until Ranger returns from a year away in New Zealand do they start to realize that their friendship has blossomed into love. When Ranger has a colleague visit from New Zealand, Zimmerman provides an appropriate accent.
