THE IMPOSSIBLE GIRL

Physician and author Lydia Kang has crafted a spellbinding story about a girl diagnosed with two hearts who faces grave danger in this historical mystery. Narrator Saskia Maarleveld's passionate voice never lets the suspense falter. The voice of each New Yorker is distinct, including that of heroine Cora, who has her normal voice as well as a male voice when she disguises herself while body snatching. Unscrupulous resurrectionists, cold-blooded murderers, a romantic interest, and psycho family members are all players in this melodrama. It's macabre but mesmerizing listening.
