In this debut audiobook narrated by Sarah Beth Goer, newcomer Violet Saunders becomes deeply enmeshed in the paranormal phenomenon that has been plaguing the town for centuries. Goer differentiates the characters well, and her even pacing keeps the listener interested. She delivers moments of high drama in tones that captures the characters' distress.
