Stephen Graybill narrates this tense thriller in a steady tone that keeps the listener engaged throughout each of its chilling assassinations. In this first novel in Pobi's American crime series, we are introduced to former FBI agent Dr. Lucas Page, a brilliant analyst whose strength is connecting the dots. While his mind is computer sharp, his body is an amalgam of prosthetic parts, the result of a tragic accident. Graybill successfully voices the numerous characters from various backgrounds and their many prejudices. For those of us living in cities surrounded by tall buildings, the idea that behind one of their windows there might be a sniper is terrifying. Pobi taps into that.
