Narrator Ryan Ireland's style is ideal for this boisterous audiobook in which the storyteller either forgets what he's talking about or keeps interrupting the action. Huggabie Falls is said to be the weirdest place on earth. Listeners will join Aussies Kip, Tobias, and Cymphany (she's the only normal person in town) as they try to stop the unthinkable: Huggabie Falls becoming ordinary. Each of Ireland's kids is affecting as they realize that accepting people's differences enhances the community. Their teacher Mrs. Turgin's witchy voice and cackle add to the fun. Impressive sound effects such as a squeaky door and a struck match add atmosphere.
