JUNO VALENTINE AND THE MAGICAL SHOES

Author Eva Chen's voice is fresh as she narrates the story of Juno Valentine. What would you do if you went to your closet to pull out your favorite shoes and found something else entirely? When Juno finds a "cornucopia" of shoes rather than her own, she sits down to try them all on. The collection includes shoes that belonged to Cleopatra, Frieda Kahlo, Cinderella, and Serena Williams, along with ballet slippers from THE NUTCRACKER. Chen sets a jaunty pace. Just as the listener is picturing what one pair of shoes might look like, Chen is on to the next and then the next.
