Young school teacher Niamh Turley's dramatic dark turn begins early one morning when she discovers that her missing roommate has been murdered. The story is told through Niamh's point of view, with Reilly playing a secondary role. McMahon differentiates the characters and draws the listener into the story's creepiness, which culminates in a cleverly designed hair-raising climax. McMahon, having narrated all the audiobooks in this series, is in perfect step with the author in conveying these characters and their world.
