Wayne Farrell narrates the continuing adventures of an Earth with one side shrouded in constant darkness. The two sides of the planet simmer in a state of cold war but a larger threat looms--a pox that devours indiscriminately and instantly begins a relentless assault on the world. Farrell imbues the colorful cast with warmth and heart, especially the teenager Jono and his allies, who gather in the hope of finding some way of stopping the pox. Scenes crackle with intensity and thrum with life as the characters exchange quips, and action sequences thunder with intensity.
