RESCUE

Narrator Karissa Vacker establishes a youthful and determined voice for 12-year-old Meg, who must escape from Nazi soldiers in German-occupied France. Her objective is to save her father after the British soldier who was tasked with the mission is injured. In order to find her father and make it safely into neutral territory, she must decipher the clues her father left behind. At the same time, she tries to help three Germans who are also seeking refuge from the Nazis. With even pacing, Vacker keeps listeners on edge as the intensity grows and more mysteries are revealed.
