BETWEEN YOU AND ME

Moira Quirk narrates this relatable family drama with nuanced versatility. Being a stepparent is challenging, as Dr. Lauren Matheson is finding out. She recently married, and her husband, Joe, has two children, 4-year-old Toby, and Grace, a teenager. Joe's ex-wife, a high-powered attorney, seems to be in control of Lauren's new family, leaving Lauren without agency and at odds with them. Quirk does an exemplary job of voicing Toby. She conveys his sweetness and innocence endearingly. She also shows vocal nimbleness as she pivots from the voice of an American man in his forties to that of an English teenage girl.
