CHASING THE BOOGEYMAN

Narrator Chris Ciulla enhances a serial killer story featuring a couple of journalists/armchair detectives. Ciulla is comfortable behind the microphone, and that ease keeps listeners engaged. His oration makes it easier to follow the complicated plot involving a serial killer who is stalking beautiful teenage girls in a small Maryland town. Despite sounding somewhat like a Stephen King novel, this audiobook sometimes drags, muddied by excessive detail.
