Jorjeana Marie dazzles as the narrator of this deliciously satisfying psychological thriller. Kacy Tremain was framed for art theft and embezzlement by her best friend, Aimee. Humiliated and fragile, she and her husband relocate to a suburb of Houston, Texas. Hoping to start a new, peaceful life, Kacy befriends women from her new neighborhood. But not everyone is who they seem to be. Kacy starts to receive taunting postcards from Aimee, and things take an even scarier turn when she discovers hidden cameras throughout her house. Marie skillfully voices Kacy, conveying her vulnerability and confusion with tone and pacing. Marie provides each character with a unique voice by expertly utilizing different accents and manipulating tone and pitch. Listeners will be delighted with this story.
