Narrator David de Vries takes listeners from Texas to Amsterdam in this new audiobook full of art forgeries and mystery. Professor Henry Lindon hopes his teaching work in Amsterdam will help distract him and his wife, Mary Lou, from their troubles. Her company has just gone under after a dishonest man put dangerous lead paint on a popular item. When Lindon discovers that the man may have taken advantage of his wife in more ways than one, he conspires with a local professor to create a believable art forgery to ruin the criminal. De Vries shines with his Dutch accents and easily pivots to the voices of the American characters.
