BOOK BOYFRIEND

Pete Cross narrates a romantic story that is both funny and touching. PK Harrington has been in love with his best friend, Art, ever since they shared one somewhat drunk kiss in college. But he's never told Art how he feels. So when Art shows up at PK's apartment after a breakup, there is absolutely no way PK can mess this up. Cross makes PK deeply sympathetic and relatable despite his being an anxious overthinker who is prone to fixating on the least important details in any given scenario. PK means well, even if he doesn't always make the best choices, and it is this inherent decency that Cross highlights in his portrayal.
