The sixth Cormoran Strike novel, written by J.K. Rowling under her pseudonym, will not disappoint the many fans of the series. Narrator Robert Glenister is nothing short of spectacular with his timing, rhythm, and accents. Edie Ledwell, a member of the Ink Black Heart online game, fears for her life. She begs Robin Ellacott, Strike's partner, to investigate, which Robin refuses to do. Then Edie turns up dead. Now Robin and Cormoran must go online to find out who the members of the game are and whether one of them is a killer. Glenister smoothly delivers each scene, taking listeners with him as he creates the characters and spins out the story.
