DAWNSHARD Stormlight Archive, Book 3.5

Kate Reading and Michael Kramer alternate narrating this novella, part of the Stormlight Archive series. The story allows minor characters to step into the spotlight. Rysn is a wheelchair-bound shipowner who is hoping to treat her magical pet by traveling to its ancestral island home. The only catch is that the island is surrounded by a permanent storm that no one has ever survived. The novella is heavy on background information, making it less accessible to new listeners. But the characters and mini-adventure are engaging, and returning listeners will find the deeper dive into the world-building especially rewarding.
