Natalie Duke and Pete Cross narrate this joyful queer rom-com about two people who find love in unexpected places. Greta, tired of being the only lesbian around, is desperate to get out of her Maine hometown. After a bad breakup, Truman is equally desperate to get out of New Orleans. So their mutual friend, Ramona--whose playful texts to both characters Hillary Huber delivers with deadpan humor--suggests they swap houses. Both Duke and Cross are outstanding. Cross captures Truman's infectious excitement and very real anxiety in Maine, while Duke, as Greta, sounds full of the wonder of falling in love with a new city. Their comic timing is excellent, and they both lean into tender moments and hard conversations, too. This audiobook is an irresistibly good time.
