While the authors of the individual stories are not identified, each story offers both humor and emotional moments in this celebration of Black love. Danielle Shemaiah and Shayna Small portray Stevie and Sola, a couple facing a deadline to apologize, with poignancy and heart. Nic Stone's Evan-Rose ably expresses her difficulty in coming out to her parents, while a lighter side is offered as Kevin R. Free's Kaz hopes his waiting for the perfect moment doesn't mean he's too late to tell his best friend he loves her. E.J.F.
