A THIEF IN THE NIGHT

Ryan Laughton and James Joseph narrate a fun, steamy, and heartfelt historical romance. Toby, voiced with humor by Laughton, stumbles upon an opportunity to make quick money by posing as a valet for an earl--but said earl is the man he once seduced and robbed at a roadside inn. In alternating chapters, Joseph shines as he portrays said earl, Miles, in a rich and inviting tone. Miles reacts with understandable anger at encountering the thief but reluctantly agrees to let Toby work off his debt. Listeners will adore hearing how the two grow closer, stumble back into bed together, and come to trust each other as they clean up Miles's tumbledown estate and search for a lost inheritance from his estranged father.
