FRIENDSHIPPED Getting Shipped!, Book 1

Prolific narrators Amy McFadden and Will Damron narrate the first title of the Getting Shipped series. Best friends since childhood, Trevor and Lexi are secretly in love with each other, something that everyone else in their small town knows. Not wanting to ruin their friendship, neither one pushes to leave the friend zone. But when Lexi's sister persuades her to try a dating app, Trevor is compelled to act upon his feelings. As the story is told from both protagonists' points of view, McFadden and Damron capably perform their characters, using voices that capture both Lexi and Trevor's personalities. However, McFadden's Midwestern vowels are a little strong for the small-town Ohio setting. Those who like wholesome friends-to-lovers romance will enjoy this production.
