BEGINNING OF ARROGANCE

Scott Fortney narrates an action-packed fantasy in which a young man is called to service by an erratic god. Krell is a paladin serving the tempestuous god ReckNor, but the god rarely calls upon those who serve him. However, Krell has captured ReckNor's attention--he even hears his god's voice inside his head. Fortney creates a unique voice for each character, and the clever use of reverb helps denote the dialogue. A subtle score creates the sound of a blockbuster movie, and the accompanying sound effects capture the ear. Fortney moves through each voice with infectious enthusiasm as the story shifts in tone from humorous to pulse-pounding. Accompanied by subtle music and sound effects, Fortney voices all the characters, delivering an engaging production and a fantastic start to the series.
