CASALVENTO House of the Wind

This sensual and romantic audiobook transports listeners to the vineyards and verdant hills of Tuscany. The exuberant voice of narrator Maria Marquis tells us the story of a young New York career woman who finds herself heir to a vineyard, Casalvento, in Tuscany. While the plot is predictable, the characters, though charming and expertly presented, are rather clichéd. But the gorgeous descriptions of grapes ripening, culinary delights served alfresco, town festivals, and sun-kissed landscapes make this audiobook a joy to listen to.
