THE CRESCENT MOON TEAROOM

This pleasant fantasy is given an appropriately lighthearted narration by Nikki Massoud. The magical Quigley sisters--Anne, Violet and Beatrix--run the Crescent Moon Tearoom, serving enchanted cups of tea and hopeful readings to their satisfied clients. All is serene until the Council of Witches appear, demanding that the Quigleys coach three other witches who haven't properly fulfilled their witchy obligations. Dire consequences will result if they fail. Additionally, the close-knit sisters learn that a family curse is destined to separate them. Massoud presents each of the slacker witches with good-natured humor, while the Quigleys sound kind and caring. Massoud's lilting voice is loaded with charm; the sisters sound credible and their problems urgent. Delicious descriptions and captivating characters provide a delightful audiobook steeped in love.
