CAR TALK Doesn't Anyone Screen These Calls? Calls About Animals and Cars

"Click and Clack," NPR's jovial advice-to-the-automotively-troubled "Tappet Brothers," are back with an hour of humorous calls dealing with cars and animals. Even when the proceedings aren't as funny as the brothers seem to think, their hilarity is contagious; laughter from the original segments segues into renewed laughter in the framing sequences. Some of the callers' dilemmas are truly wacky, and the whole production is crowned by a reader's letter thanking the brothers for demonstrating that if one person knows nothing, two people know even less.
