KALEIDOSCOPE & THE HUMAN OPERATORS

Two novellas with different narrators are presented in this program as part of Stellar Audio's series of short fiction. Bradbury's KALEIDOSCOPE is one of the world's best known sci-fi stories, a contemplative tale of space-suited men thrown into the void by an exploding ship; they have radio contact but no hope of rescue. The reader is not named; he has a slow, deep voice and brings out the anguish of the despairing men. Ellison and Van Vogt's THE HUMAN OPERATORS, a tale with some sexual scenes, is read by Ellison himself.
