COLD CASE

Successful author David Etheridge visits his hometown, where twenty years earlier a beautiful coed was murdered after they had attended a party. David was a suspect in the murder but had not been charged. Now death strikes again—at the same house where the party occurred. This time David is charged with both murders, and Defense Attorney Barbara Holloway must solve both cases without becoming the next victim. Carrington MacDuffie has an interesting voice that is perfect for the determined defense lawyer, her cagey and old- fashioned father, the acerbic David, and the lesser characters who complete this engaging mystery.
