ONE SCARY NIGHT

Nowadays movies and television offer such images of violence that mere words have, to a large extent, lost their power. How delightful to listen to Edwards and Revill breathe life and terror into the poetry of Edgar Allen Poe, James Whitcomb Riley, Lewis Carroll and others. Musical accompaniment, though occasionally overpowering, generally adds just the right touch of menace to the spine-tingling performances.
