THE HEART OF UNDERSTANDING Commentaries on the Prajñāpāramitā Heart Sutra

This audiobook is a live recording from 1987 on the subject of the Heart of the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra. Thich Nhat Hanh’s message is relatively simple to understand, and his presentation is quiet, calm, and easy to listen to. He includes a touch of humor and encourages listeners to smile when they hear the chimes that separate the segments of the teaching. In addition to providing a smile, the chimes are helpful when using the recording as a basis for meditation. A number of books by Thich Nhat Hanh present his teachings on various Buddhist precepts.
