This audio monologue from a well-known talking head deals with social, political and economic issues from a point of view left of center and delivered with a New Zealand accent. It seems to have been conceived as a counter stroke to the many right-wing audio diatribes available. Helen Caldicott’s presentation is an interview/lecture with no discernible attempt at packaging or post-production values. Caldicott is clearly improvising; her strengths are wit and emotion.
