That incorrigible cat Splat is back, and he’s concerned about whether his behavior has been good enough to warrant a present from Santa. In a last-minute December 24th flurry, Splat sets out to do all the helpful tasks he can manage to assist his mother in holiday preparation and to anticipate, all through the night, Santa’s arrival. John Keating narrates enthusiastically as an overexcited Splat demonstrates his goodness. In tones of exasperation he delivers the protests of Splat’s mother amid the upheaval of her holiday house. Keating’s voice speeds and slows, loudens and softens with the ups-and-downs of two important days. Holiday music provides seasonal ambiance.
