AUNT DIMITY BEATS THE DEVIL

Aunt Dimity, who is a ghost, seems somewhat less involved in this adventure with mortal Lori Shepherd than in previous installments of this series. But there's another ghost, and therein lies the tale. Shepherd leaves her husband in charge of the twins and journeys to northern England to a Victorian heap called Wyrdhurst Hall. Wyrdhurst is definitely weird, with plenty of strange happenings to enliven the damp scenery. Narrator Christina Moore, who, like Lori, is an American, navigates the British accents of with a mid-Atlantic approach.
